Village Cluster
Located in remotes locations, both Sham Shek Village and Luk Wu-Lower Keung Shan Village rely heavily on subsistence farming. This project studies the shifting mode of agricultural practices from 1940s to the present day, which have been influenced by the introduction of water infrastructure and urbanization. By examining how these changes have impacted the villages' traditional farming practices, the project aims to provide insight into the evolution of these communities and their relationship with the surrounding landscape.
